ISO/IEC Standards Compliance
Chatham Archive and Document Storage is the only UK archive centre to hold UKAS accredited ISO27001 and ISO9001 registration – for its entire operations.
The business obtained ISO27001, then (BS7799) in 2001 and recently added ISO9001: 2008 as part of a ‘integrated’ management system.
We are audited annually by SGS, the world’s largest certification body. SGS provides inspection, testing, certification and verification services to ensure that products, services and systems meet quality, safety and performance standards.
Addressing both ISO27001, the International Standard for Information Security and ISO9001, the International Standard for Quality, the business can demonstrate that it is a ‘trusted partner’ for maintaining customer data, following stringent security procedures. Obtaining ISO9001 ensures that processes are adopted to maximize customer satisfaction and speedy and accurate delivery to its customers within the Home Counties.
Ian Shackleton, Managing Director of The Chatham Archive is delighted to discuss the benefits of these Standards with prospect customers, especially the importance of ISO27001 Information Security, in an age where data management is key in most procurement situations.
Chatham Archive was assisted by Marcus J Allen, who has over eighteen years experience in Management Standards. He holds numerous BSI Lead Auditor qualifications in ISO27001 and BS25999. Marcus Allen has a Master’s degree from one of the UK’s premier research universities in ‘Management Learning and Change’ and is a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute.
